The Tyranny of copyright is the fact that copyrights are setting a limit on everything. Before copyright everything flowed freely, but became it a problem with people copy others works and taking credit for it. Some people believe that all these copyright laws are stifling creativity. They fear that that creativity will be limited to the point of taking away democratic freedom. However there is always a reason for laws, and these laws are for protection in efforts to stop piracy. There is movement forming called The Free Culture Movement they feel that copyright laws are getting are getting out of control, and that it is not encourage Innovation there for stifling creativity. They feel that if I goes to far it will be used to hoarded ideas and going against the constitution. Believing that everyone should have the right to draw ideas from other ideas. It takes 95 years for ideas to lose there copy right and be placed in a public domain for others to use. Intellectual property is expiring when it should never expire. I can see how there are people whom don’t like copyright laws, But it all comes down to integrity, why can people just think up ideas on there own like millions before them. There is no way to run out of ideas, although I see the other point of view to because a lot of times see other thing spark that idea. But I think it’s a completely necessary for copyright laws because people are evil and they think to steal. Especially in the music industry peoples works of art that they put there hearts and souls into are being ripped from underneath them, either that or there not making money anyways because no boy bys there music any more the just rip it of limewire. The point is people where getting lazy and taking other peoples ingenious ideas and making it there own and that’s not fare so that’s why there are laws trying to prevent this piracy.

Google is referred to as the “ Big Brother” Because they’re at the top of there game.

The company is enforces a number of technique to stay at the top of there game remaining superior to other search engines. For some reason Google is more popular and some people believe it has better search results then yahoo and other search engines, because it appears to have better results. Google spiders the Internet non-stop so they can achieve there search results. In all reality Yahoo is just as good there is 20 percent overlap between the there first 100 results, but the results are just as good. But some how Google remains at a 75 percent monopoly over all the other search engines. They argue though that Google is bad, mainly because it has spyware so they can monitor what people are search and keeps a record of it. Also referred to as a privacy time bomb, because when you search for something the syware records your IP address so you’re pretty much screwed if you search for things that are private. Also if the things you search for are illegal your in even more trouble if the catch up to. I personally use Google, although, to be completely honest I’m not sure why. I think I do it out of habit. But I can rember feeling frustrated using yahoo because it’s not just a search engine. You go to the page and there’s all this news and login stuff posted everywhere. Then you go to Google and it a straight simple layout that has cool new Google logo every day. I’m really not to worried about my privacy being breached either because I’m not doing anything illegal. I’m actually pretty happy with Google and who knows perhaps thats why its so popular. All I know is that any time I want to search for something the first thing that pops in my head is “Google It”. It’s all based on personal preference and like everything else in the world people are almost brain washed to do the coolest, easiest, most popular thing. So if other engines can Implement ways to make them popular they to could easily sleep there foot in the door to being` the new popular thing. JUST REMEMBER THE POPULAR VOTE ALWAYS WINS.
